please keep hands and feet inside the cart at all times.

she made her way through the flurried excited crowd, climbed up into the cart, strapped herself in, and clasped her hands. she looked ahead at the tracks, and had to tilt her head back to see the long journey up into the sky.

"here we go again." she thought.

but it was never a bore. it was never strenuous or tiring. scary? maybe. but it was exhilarating. it was the process. she enjoyed the journey, and she especially liked traveling up to the top. oh, the suspense. she loved it.

so many things in life require waiting. the journey to somewhere exciting. we think that once we get to the place we're going, that's when the ride starts. but that can't be true. in order to get to the top, you have to start at the bottom. there's a beginning. we can't always see where we're going, or even if there's a drop up ahead.

the waiting part isn't always fun. the bottom of the coaster isn't always exciting.

but can I tell you something?

It's all a journey. Every valley. Every twist. Every turn.

I know who designed the roller coaster of my life. He's a good Creator. He knows the layout. The plan. The drops. And just like the rest of His creation, it is good.

"For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans of GOOD and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.'" Jeremiah 29:11

Wherever you are at, trust the Creator. He is good. Put your heart into His hands and your faith into His plan. He will lead the way.

"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1

Hallelujah.
